Hbomberguy came up in the gamer gate / alt right internet with his “measured response” series, which debunks things like flat earth, climate change deniers, incel ideology, etc. His latest video is a thoroughly researched, entertaining / heartbreaking essay about the history of Andrew Wakefield, the MMR vaccine and the modern day anti-vax movement.

On top of being both hilarious and informative, the feature-length essay is impeccably constructed. Each chapter reveals new levels of depravity orchestrated by Andrew Wakefield, as he attempts to profit off of a vaccine crisis he manufactured. The essay also dives into the revolting ableism behind Wakefield’s scam, and how the media eagerly participated.

Even if you know a lot about the history of Wakefield’s infamous “study”, I can promise you there’s more horrors to uncover. “From my bone marrow” is one of the most chilling things I’ve ever heard. Enjoy!
